cooper2_smI’d like to welcome you to the official website of the Douglas County Young Marines. The Young Marines is a youth program for boys and girls, ages 8 through the completion of high school.

The program focuses on character building, discipline, leadership and promotes a healthy drug-free lifestyle. All interested individuals must complete 10 weeks (every Saturday) of training in order to earn the title “Young Marine.” I am sure you will find this website very informative. If you wish to find a unit in your area, click on the National/Unit Locator tab above. You do not have to live in Douglas County to become a member of our unit. If you would like to find out more about becoming a member or to be added to the interest list for the next recruit class, view the About Us/Recruit Training page and fill out the interest form.

Thank you for your interest in our unit and I hope you will visit often.
