UPCOMING DRILL INFORMATION

What to Bring

Teamwork, Discipline, Integrity

Young Marines should always bring their Duffle Bag, PT Gear, 782 Gear, Guidebook, Cover, Notebook, Pen, and Chow unless otherwise instructed.

Welcome you to the official website of the Douglas County Young Marines. The Young Marines is a youth program for boys and girls, ages 8 through 18, or the completion of high school.

This national program focuses on character building, discipline, leadership and promotes a healthy drug-free lifestyle. All interested individuals must complete a recruit training period that will introduce you to new and rigorous challenges, preparing you for the opportunity to earn the title “Young Marine.” This website has a great deal of information and I encourage you to look around to learn more about our program. If you wish to find a unit in your area, click on the National/Unit Locator tab above. You do not need live in Douglas County to become a member of our unit. If you would like to find out more about becoming a member or to be added to the interest list for the next recruit class (held every March through May), view the About Us/Recruit Training page and fill out the interest form.

Thank you for your interest in Douglas County Young Marines.
